Why smartphone for science teachers?

I have a smartphone and I'm loving its features. It helps me manage my accounts in twitter, facebook pages, google+ , edmodo, gmail and more. Using my smartphone, I can watch and read articles related to science. I can even surf the net using apps such as google chrome or safari. I can even share pictures without any problem using instagram
Another best feature of it, is that I can create new post for my blog anytime and anywhere. It's amazing how technology now a days aid teachers like me. Smartphones are not only use just for texting and calling, it can also create links to your other interests. It's like having a pocket laptop if you have a smartphone
Teachers must be equipped with this gadget in order to be updated on what's new in the field of education and can reach out to other educators all over the world by just a click.
The following photos are some of the apps my smartphone has:

Isn't these apps of smartphone fantastic. It's handy  because it's lite. For teachers like me, this is a must have, although some smartphones are expensive. But if you have extra cash and you really want to be updated about the latest trends in education, contact other educators and students, do some research etc., then this product of technology is for you! just use it wisely! make sure you have discipline when and when not  to use it.

Purple-Planet (free music) for students and teachers

To teachers and students who are looking for free music that  can  be used  for presentations or projects,  purple-planet.com is the site for you guys. This was a site suggested by my trainer Mr. John Sowash during the KCI Pang training last April 1-12, 2013 at Daniel Maramba National High School, Pangasinan, Philippines. I was given permission by the owner of the site to use the music, specially for educational purposes. The owner also said that it can be used by other educators and students in their video/photo presentations as long as they will cite where they got the music.
What I love about the music they have in purple-planet.com is that most of it are  instrumental in forms and they got three versions of every  music they have. You can choose the longer version or the shorter if you want, it depends on what you need for your project.
Just ignore the "royalty free music" - according to the maker of the site. The site was not updated for quite sometime,  but if you want to read their terms and conditions, just click the using our music for more clarifications.
Enjoy the music of purple-planet.com !!!

2013 Summer Adventure in Baguio City

After my busy schedule from the summer training for teachers, my family went to  Baguio City, the summer capital of the  Philippines to bond and escape the summer heat from lowlands. I even  renewed my PRC  licence for teachers , which by the way their new office is located in (PRC Baguio City).
My son enjoyed playing at the Children's Park which was renovated by the City  Government  of Baguio.
Ryt on the red slide
He enjoyed the different slides in the park. A lot of parents with their children were having a good time. This kind of landmark in the city is a nice place to spend quality time with your family without spending to much money.

There are so many things that you can do in the park, like having a picnic, enjoy the other features of the park, they even have a mini lagoon where children can enjoy watching the colorful fishes

Truly the place is for everyone, not for just children but even for kids at heart, like me ^^
